Join Woods Rogers Labor & Employment attorneys for a program centered on legal and practical guidance for HR professionals. The day will begin with a short review of critical legal updates. Afterwards, we will cover strategies for handling employee discipline and termination and end the seminar with a deep dive into the Family Medical Leave Act, covering everything from FMLA 101 to complicated scenarios you may face in your workplace. You will leave this seminar able to evaluate your current policies and recognize potential HR issues before they become bigger problems.

After participating in this session, attendees will be able to:

1. Evaluate their current workplace policies for compliance with current law and regulations;
2. Apply the outcomes or strategy to their potential HR issues based on review of actual employment law scenarios; and 
3. Recognize potential HR issues and troubleshoot how to best protect the company and prepare for potential litigation.
