2019 VA SHRM State Conference

Ahoy! All hands! Chart a course for VASHRM’s Annual Conference April 7-10, 2019!

Next year’s conference will be at the beautiful, new Hilton Norfolk The Main!

About the hotel: Set in a vibrant downtown entertainment complex, this sophisticated, high-rise hotel includes a swanky rooftop bar and a garden lounge, as well as a piano bar with Italian fare. There's also a hip, tavern-style seafood restaurant, an indoor pool, a billiards room and 2 ballrooms.

About the conference: Dive into an ocean of learning with top-notch keynote speakers and breakout sessions. As always, entertainment will be available at the conference, but if you’re making a mini vacation out of your voyage, there’s plenty to do in Norfolk!

About Norfolk: Norfolk is home to Naval Station Norfolk, a massive naval base on Chesapeake Bay. Nauticus is a maritime museum that features the Battleship Wisconsin, a huge WWII warship. The Chrysler Museum of Art showcases a vast collection of glass art, plus European and American paintings and sculpture. The riverside Virginia Zoo is home to bears, birds, lions and farm animals. The Norfolk Botanical Garden is a botanical garden with arboretum. Norfolk has great breweries and wineries as well.
