Regular Meeting
October 31, 2012

11:30 am – 1:00 pm
The meeting was called to order by Carl Shoemaker at 12:05p.
Minutes of the September meeting were not presented to the membership because we failed to email them prior to the meeting. We will need to have them approved at our November meeting.
Financial Report:
Kathie T. was absent. Carl reported that we are doing well and not in a crunch for funds. He did not have an official report.
Carl informed all this would be our planning meeting. Ballots were passed out by Betty W. and Carl explained you had to be a professional member to vote.
Petrina C. & Pat Fowlkes volunteered to count the ballots.
All presented nominees were approved & there were some additional nominations on the ballot, but not enough to be considered for chair roles. Carl informed they would be approached to serve on a committee.

Martinsville Blue Ridge Chapter & South Boston employment group may join our chapter & we have been exploring ideas to prevent them from travelling 30 miles each month.
Changes in venue will begin in January 2013.
